Recently, Chongqing Sanfeng Covanta Environmental Industry Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Sanfeng Environment, and Vietnam Hanoi Seraphin Green Environment Technology JSC. officially signed the Contract for the Design, Equipment Manufacture, Supply, Delivery (Incoterms 2020 CIF Hai Phong port, Vietnam), Construction and Installation Guidance & Supervision, Commissioning, testing, and provide defect liability period, for Seraphin Waste to Energy Plant. 

Signing Ceremony

The project invested by Hanoi Seraphin Green Environment Technology is the most influential Waste-to-Energy project in Vietnam, with the capacity to treat 2,000 tons of municipal solid waste per day , counting 730,000 tons of municipal solid waste per year. The project is equipped with 3 sets of SITY2000 reverse-acting mechanical grate (3x615 t/d), 2 sets of steam turbine generator with a total installed capacity of 37.5MW, and flue gas purification treatment system adopting "furnace SNCR + semi-dry spray tower + activated carbon adsorption + bag filter" combination process, the flue gas emission indicators meet the current EU standards.

Project Architecture Effect 

The project construction has officially started and has received great support from the leaders and departments of the Hanoi Municipal Government. After its completion and operation in February 2024, it will effectively improve the urban environment in Hanoi and help the construction of local ecological civilization.

Commencement Ceremony

The official signing of the project marks that the "Sanfeng Brand" has been recognized by Vietnamese clients, and the two companies have formed a long-term strategic partnership to jointly explore the Waste-to-Energy market in Vietnam, becoming a new highlight of Sino-Vietnamese ecological and environmental industry cooperation.
